Hoshi-to-Mori Grand Prix: \500,000 with the testimonial for 1 person.
Hoshi-to-Mori supplementary prize: \100,000 with the testimonial each for 2 persons.
English Field
Hoshi-to-Mori Grand Prix: \500,000 with the testimonial for 1person. If the winner lives overseas, the fee for a round - trip ticket to Japan is given.
Hoshi-to-Mori supplementary prize: \100,000 with the testimonial each for 2 persons.
(Whether Grand Prix winner will be selected or not, and the number of the winner may be decided by the judgements as the judges have been invested with full authority.)

The selected Tanka will be sung and recited at the Poetry Recitation party and the Commendation Ceremony for the 8th Hoshi-to-Mori International Tanka Contest scheduled to be held in July, which will be followed by the awarding ceremony. |

form on the back side of a postal card.
No other information on this side. As for
the overseas applications, either a postcard
or an envelope will do. |

One Tanka only for each field.(But you can enter for both fields.) |

Your original, previously unpublished Tanka is only acceptable. |

Announcement of & Recruitment for Studying
Tanka Recitation by Hoshi-to-Mori
It is called recitation to sing tanka according to the ancient custom. The recitation of tanka which can be said the root of Japanese culture has been continued at the Imperial Palace and the House of Reizei. In this workshop, the recitation is being studied and performed more freely.
Those who are interested in tanka recitation are cordially invited to join us since it is a rare chance for you. Men and women of all ages, a little over 20 in number, have already started reciting practice twice a month. It's without regard to sex, age or experience. |
